Position Overview:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This role supports high-quality patient care in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with safety standards

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures and ensure image quality

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide patient education

• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC

• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure efficient patient flow

Requirements:

• Active New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist license

• NM Certification required (ARRT or NMTCB)

• BLS certification

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience

• PET experience preferred

• Strong patient care and technical skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
