TAG Med Staffing is hiring a Medical Assistant (Outpatient Clinic) in White Plains, NY for our client, supporting daily clinical operations, patient care, and medical office workflows. In this in-office role, you will assist providers during exams, prepare patients for visits, maintain accurate EMR documentation, and support efficient clinical processes while delivering a high-quality patient experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

• Patient Intake & Support: Greet patients, prepare them for appointments, and escort them to exam rooms while managing in-person and phone interactions.
• Clinical Assistance: Support providers during exams, prepare specimens, perform basic in-office lab testing, and maintain sterile instruments and supplies.
• Medical Documentation: Verify and accurately document patient information, histories, treatments, and test results in the EMR.
• Patient Education & Coordination: Educate patients on medications and follow-up care and assist with prescription coordination as directed.
• Compliance & Operations: Maintain patient confidentiality, adhere to HIPAA and clinic policies, and support inventory and equipment readiness.

• Education: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Certification: CMA or RMA certification strongly preferred.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient or clinical setting preferred.

  Experience working with electronic medical record systems, with Next Gen experience preferred.

  Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
