Respiratory Therapy Manager

Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, varied days/hours

Salary: $95,373 – $143,059/year + full benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Care Manager to lead a team of respiratory therapists across all shifts. This role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care, oversees department operations, and supports clinical and professional development of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor respiratory therapy staff.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and standards of care.
• Monitor compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations.
• Manage performance, conduct reviews, and support professional growth.
• Oversee education, orientation, and onboarding for respiratory staff.
• Participate in regulatory inspections and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program; master’s preferred.
• NY State Respiratory Therapy license & Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS required; ACLS, NRP, PALS required or within 3 months.
• Minimum 5 years acute care respiratory therapy experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (NPS) and CPFT credentials preferred.
