As a Branch Ambassador, you’ll work with people and share product knowledge to play a vital role in our customers’ banking experience. You’ll perform a wide variety of transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers and withdrawals while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to established operational policies and procedures.

You will resolve customer inquiries quickly and efficiently, delivering an extraordinary customer experience. We seek adaptable Ambassadors with a growth mindset who are customer experience-obsessed to contribute to our reimagined banking experience.

What we’re looking for in you:

• You’re friendly and engaging and can connect with customers; you help with technology challenges, have casual conversations, and showcase our services and products.
• You can help determine personal and business financial needs to reduce customer financial anxiety and guide customers to appropriate experts.
• You understand the importance of compliance and will follow all audit and security policies and procedures in accordance with Bank policy and Federal regulations.
• You support customers in all areas of the branch, from cash handling and service needs, to rotating through the branch based on customer needs.
• The overall retail customer experience is improved with fewer handoffs; every Ambassador is an expert.
• You are curious and eager to learn. We will teach you Capital One products, services, and experiences to guide customers toward their financial goals.
• You are digitally savvy and will educate customers on the branch’s laptops and iPads, and navigate our mobile and online experiences. You will also educate on other banking channels and products and services.
• You are a team player who can inspire teammates as you work with an energized banking team.
• You will research and answer customer inquiries to enhance retention and engagement by using various tools and channels to recommend solutions.
• You may travel between branches in the assigned local area to support the market.

Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification; at least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience; at least 6 months of cash handling experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s degree; 2+ years of retail, sales, or banking experience.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours. White Plains, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location, and the actual offer will be in the offer letter.
