Position Summary The Account Manager – Home Depot plays a critical role in protecting revenue, margin, and customer relationships by ensuring executional excellence across one of IOC’s most complex and demanding retail partnerships. They have ownership over day-to-day execution, operational performance, and cross-functional coordination of the Spring Valley business at The Home Depot. This role serves as the central point of accountability for program execution, item readiness, order accuracy, and vendor compliance, ensuring Home Depot standards are consistently met while supporting long-term account growth.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to offer their expertise in retail account management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management, Execution, and Strategy:
    Assist in the execution of sales programs, promotions, and product launches for the Home Depot;
    Execute annual programs for lawn & garden products under both Spring Valley and private label brands at Home Depot;
    Manage retailer portals for item setup, pricing updates, promotional submissions, and compliance requirements to reduce risk and cost;
    Track account-specific scorecards, item data integrity, OTIF performance, ASN accuracy, routing compliance, RDC/IFC flow, and vendor compliance, proactively resolving & escalating issues as needed;
    Lead and coordinate regional and Pro-specific events with The Home Depot.
  • Reviews & Product Assortment Management:
    Drive the preparation and execution of line reviews, ensuring all materials, data, and timelines align with Home Depot expectations;
    Coordinate and manage all setup, data entry, documentation, pricing, compliance, and readiness meeting Home Depot standards;
    Translate new product ideas into actionable plans, ensuring all requirements are completed accurately and on time;
    Track timelines and proactively address issues that may delay launch.
  • Collaboration & Support:
    Work closely with the Sales team to support account strategy, growth initiatives, and customer needs;
    Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate order fulfillment;
    Work closely with marketing on the development of merchandising, packaging, and promotional collateral;
    Partner with finance to track promotional spend, deductions, margin improvement, and ROI analysis;
    Support senior leadership in strategic meetings and contribute to decision-making.
  • Order Management & Execution:
    Oversee order processing and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely fulfillment;
    Possess a strong working knowledge of Home Depot policies, procedures, and systems;
    Collaborate with vendors to ensure alignment, compliance, and smooth execution.
  • Problem Solving & Troubleshooting:
    Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve order, product, or operational issues quickly and effectively;
    Serve as a solution-oriented resource for internal teams, customers, and vendors;
    Collect, analyze, and report on POS, inventory, and promotional performance data.
