Our client is a well‑established organization based in White Plains, seeking a highly organized Accounts Payable professional who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and supporting smooth financial operations.

In this Accounts Payable Specialist position, you’ll play a key role in the day‑to‑day financial function—managing the full AP cycle and working closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager to keep processes running efficiently.

• Oversee full‑cycle AP, including invoice intake, coding, and obtaining approvals.
• Prepare and process payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Coordinate escrow account activity and perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage 1099‑MISC reporting and handle petty cash.
• Research and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Assist with ad‑hoc projects as the organization continues to grow.

• 3+ years of hands‑on accounts payable experience.
• Background in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GL coding.
• Solid Excel skills and comfort with accounting systems.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for working with vendors and internal teams.
