Our client, a reputable and growing organization based in White Plains, NY, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and oversee financial reporting. This position offers strong exposure to leadership and the opportunity to play a key role in improving processes and supporting strategic financial initiatives.

• Manage daily accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules

• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances

• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff

• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

• Coordinate annual audits and act as primary liaison with external auditors

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies

• Partner with leadership to support operational and financial decision-making

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

• Experience with ERP systems such as Net Suite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, or similar

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities

• CPA or CPA-track preferred
