Compensation: $75,000-$85,000

Our client is an established firm in White Plains looking for a detail-oriented AP professional who thrives on accuracy, organization, and keeping financial operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

About the role:
As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll be the backbone of our financial operations - owning the full AP cycle from invoice to payment while partnering closely with our Controller and Accounting Manager.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Manage end-to-end invoice processing, coding, and approvals.
• Process payments and coordinate vendor relationships.
• Drive month-end and year-end close processes.
• Handle escrow account coordination and bank reconciliations.
• Process 1099-MISC reporting and petty cash management.
• Conduct research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Support special projects as the business evolves.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience.
• Law firm or professional services experience.
• Solid grasp of accounting principles and general ledger coding.
• Confidence with MS Excel and accounting software.
• Self-starter who can work independently and own their work.
• Strong communication skills - you'll be liaising with vendors and internal teams.
