Bookkeeper

Description

Key Responsibilities:

+ Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process in accounting software.

+ Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy of financial data.

+ Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and collections.

+ Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports, as needed.

+ Assist with payroll processing and related record-keeping.

+ Monitor and update company accounting controls and procedures.

+ Support month-end and year-end close processes.

+ Manage and organize physical and digital financial records for audit readiness.

+ Collaborate with accountants and other finance team members to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

+ Utilize accounting systems such as Quick Books, Microsoft D365, Oracle Net Suite, SAP, and other industry-standard tools.

+ Support special projects and additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Proven bookkeeping experience or relevant accounting background.

+ Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Microsoft D365, Oracle Net Suite, SAP) and intermediate MS Excel skills.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Familiarity with payroll processing and basic accounting controls preferred.

+ Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.

+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
