Diesel Technician

We are looking for a talented White Bear Lake, MN. Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in White Bear Lake, MN. You will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

• Completes internal engine repairs
• Engine overhaul experience a plus but not required
• Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
• Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software

• This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
• A current valid license is required for this role
• Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
• This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
• A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
• Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred), Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution, locally valid driving permit (Preferred). This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
