Part Time Bakery Clerk

Job Overview

Cub White Bear Lake South is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part‑time bakery clerk position. Bakery clerks provide wrapping, stocking and customer service support for the department. They are required to meet daily sales goals and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

• Prepare and wrap bakery products
• Stock, rotate and face bakery products
• Perform clean‑up of the department
• Assist with department merchandising as directed
• Assist with customer questions or requests

• Operate equipment (shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, knives, bakery racks, etc.)
• Ability to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• Provide on‑going customer interaction with prompt, courteous and accurate service
• Good judgment for independent decision‑making when supervision is not immediately available
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be 18 years of age and older

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces
