Boiler Operator – Maintenance Mechanic

Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Wage: $30 – $33/hr

Join a Minnesota Top Workplace! As a Boiler Operator – Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance on packaging machines and other equipment within our manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, day shift position.

• Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers (MN 2nd Class B Boiler License or higher preferred).
• Follow appropriate safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and repair methods.
• Independently perform repairs on assigned plant equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance for equipment on an assigned schedule.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues of plant equipment.
• Document work performed in daily Individual Shift Report.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of parts and supplies, including signing out parts from the storeroom and notifying the supervisor of low supply levels.
• Perform general building maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Conduct electrical repairs on single-phase and three-phase power distribution components.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical control wiring on equipment.
• Inspect equipment and perform corrective actions within the scope of a Class B Maintenance Technician’s skill level.
• Other duties as requested.

• MN 2nd Class B Boiler License or higher preferred.
