This engineering position offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex technical projects from initial concept through final implementation. - Design, model, develop, and test machines, structures, or systems according to project specifications
- Develop and document functional requirements for engineering projects
- Create simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and validate operational concepts
- Design individual components and integrate them into cohesive final products
- Conduct comprehensive testing of components and complete systems to verify performance standards
- Monitor product quality throughout the development and production lifecycle
- Control and optimize process efficiency to maximize productivity and minimize waste
- Evaluate designs for overall effectiveness, cost efficiency, reliability, and safety compliance
- Investigate root causes of product or system failures using systematic analysis techniques
- Recommend and implement improvements based on failure analysis and quality assessments
- Maintain detailed documentation of design decisions, test results, and quality metrics
- Strong understanding and application of standard engineering principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in engineering design and modeling techniques
- Experience with simulation tools and prototype development
- Component design and systems integration capabilities
