Maintenance Technician

Overview

Warwood Tool is a small business in Wheeling, WV. Our goal is to continue the legacy of providing high-quality, USA made hand tools.

Maintenance Technician / Millwright performs building maintenance, machine maintenance, mechanical and electrical installations, and repairs.

• Knowledge of machine mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, gauge/fixture movement, blueprint reading, welding and fabrication.
• Experienced in maintaining and repairing presses, electrical machine panel building, and three-phase power.
• Must be able to diagnose repairs, order or machine parts needed to complete the repairs.
• Tools used by these technicians include welders, lathes, mills, pipe threaders, electrical meters, and traditional hand tools.
• Workers in this occupation must follow safety precautions, use lockout tagout, and use protective equipment, such as hardhats, safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protectors.
• Most work is in our manufacturing facilities during normal working hours.
