Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day/night rotating shifts with weekends as scheduled

• Patient ratios of 1:6/7 (up to 1:7 maximum)

• Care for 30-bed medical surgical unit

• Manage patients with common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, urosepsis, and AKI

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS

• Titrate heparin drips based on APTT results

• Work with telemetry monitoring (watched remotely by monitor techs)

• Use EPIC charting system

• Navy blue scrubs required

• Float as needed based on census (external travelers float first)

• Work alongside PCTs (patient care technicians) and one charge RN with assignment

• Handle intermittent BIPAP equipment (no ventilators)

• Usually scheduled for half of total weekends

• No standby or call requirements

• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract

• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license with submission

• Must be within 50-mile radius of facility

• BSN not required
