Overview
Senior Banquet Manager oversees banquet operations and leads the banquet management team to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role serves as a key operational leader and acts as the Director of Banquets in their absence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily banquet operations, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and guest satisfaction
- Supervise banquet managers, supervisors, and a large hourly team
- Act as liaison with Catering and Food & Beverage leadership
- Maintain BEOs, billing documentation, consumption reports, and service charge tracking
- Oversee scheduling, labor management, timekeeping, and payroll support
- Partner with HR on hiring, training, coaching, and retention
- Enforce service protocols, sanitation standards, and performance expectations
- Monitor banquet spaces, equipment, inventory, and storage areas
- Handle guest concerns professionally and proactively
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of banquet, catering, or food & beverage leadership experience
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Financial and operational acumen
- Valid driver’s license; must be 21+
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly; occasional heavier lifting
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
