Position:Patient Care Tech - DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis (DSD)
Location:
36 Old Hickory Ridge Rd, Washington, PA 15301
Schedule:
3‑4 days a week, 12+ hour shifts.
DaVita Kidney Care is launching DSD services at skilled nursing facilities (SNF). Ideal teammates: experience within DaVita, startup mindset, patient focus.
What you can expectYou take responsibility for complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure dialysis stays on track. PCTs work with dialysis RNs.
Primary Work ScheduleFull‑time. Based at our site dialysis den in the Premier Washington – Oak Springs facility, may support other sites. Operations Monday‑Saturday.
ComplexityDSD Dialysis care is complex; meet or exceed clinical outcomes and multitask to meet service and patient needs.
Autonomy and Critical ThinkingProvide comprehensive patient care independently. Monitor patients pre‑, during, and post‑dialysis; measure and record stats; patient observations; hemodialysis machine setup.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours (12+ hour shifts). Comfortable shoes.
- Health care experience a plus: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
- Training/Teaching/Healthcare Education background.
