Wieland is hiring a Sales Account Executive
. The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by expanding market share, increasing sales volumes, and fostering long-term strategic partnerships. This role requires a proactive approach in identifying new business opportunities while effectively managing and strengthening relationships with existing key accounts. The Sales Account Executive will develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the company’s objectives, ensuring profitability and a strong return on investment.
This role is located in Wheeling, IL and can be fully remote. Frequent travel required, including in-person client meetings, customer engagements, overnight stays, and participation in trade shows or sales conferences. Occasional weekend travel may be necessary.
Base Salary Range: $108,000 - $126,000
May be eligible for a variable compensation plan bonus based upon company performance within fiscal year cycle.

ResponsibilitiesSales Account Executive
Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to market segments, setting annual objectives for key accounts.
- Gain a deep understanding of Wieland Thermal Solutions' products and services to effectively position them in the marketplace.
- Manage key customer relationships by maintaining ongoing communication regarding order requirements, delivery schedules, new business opportunities, and any potential issues.
- Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions with key customers to establish favorable agreements.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to develop accurate and competitive sales quotes for leads and key accounts.
- Achieve and exceed sales booking and billing targets within assigned accounts.
- Coordinate closely with management, inside sales, operations, and supply chain to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and material needs.
- Utilize CRM and SAP systems to track customer interactions, maintain account details, and analyze sales performance.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and risks.
- Support senior leadership in strategic business and product development by providing market intelligence, customer insights, and real-world data.
Sales Account Executive
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in metal sales or a technical sales setting.
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of financial metrics and sales performance indicators.
- Exceptional customer service, negotiation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and CRM software.
- A highly self-motivated and results-driven professional with excellent organizational and time management skills.
