A growing precision aerospace manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead site level quality execution in a machining focused environment. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who can strengthen AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance, mature the QMS, and serve as the primary quality authority on site. The role supports a fast paced, private equity backed environment where ownership, responsiveness, and practical problem solving matter.

• 10 years minimum working in quality control tied directly to machined components.
• 5 years minimum in a quality leadership role with at least 3 direct reports.
• Hands on quality leadership experience in a precision machining shop serving aerospace or defense customers.
• Strong GD&T and drawing interpretation skills with clear examples of application in inspection and disposition decisions.
• Experience with AS9100 and ISO 9001 systems, procedures, and audit expectations. NADCAP exposure strongly preferred.
• Stable career history. Short stints and gaps are acceptable when clearly explainable, and the client will expect a clear narrative.

• Lead and develop a high performance quality team including inspectors, technicians, and quality engineers.
• Own site level AS9100 and ISO 9001 activity including audits, documentation, corrective actions, and customer quality support.
• Manage product and process quality strategy to ensure conformance to customer and regulatory requirements in a precision machining operation.
• Support customer needs including SCARs, source inspections, FAIR coordination, PPAP support where applicable, and customer audits.
• Drive containment, MRB, root cause, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness to reduce escapes and improve first pass yield.
• Maintain QMS documentation including procedures, work instructions, and controlled documents.
• Partner closely with site leadership to strengthen culture, execution, and quality performance.

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000
