Music Gear Delivery Driver

Join the dynamic team at Chuck Levin’s Washington Music Center as a Part-Time Music Gear Delivery Driver! We are looking for a dedicated and dependable individual to help us share the joy of music by safely transporting rental instruments and equipment to schools across Maryland and Virginia along with transporting inventory between the store and various warehouses.

In this role, you'll contribute to our mission by assisting with the loading and unloading of valuable instruments and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately. You'll also collaborate closely with our School and Government team to ensure that everything is ready for our clients each day.

As you hit the road, you'll not only be driving but also representing Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center with professionalism and enthusiasm. Your positive interactions with teachers and school staff will leave a lasting impression and help us foster strong community relationships.

This position will be scheduled for 24-26 hours a week, the daily schedule will be determined prior to employment.

• Safely deliver and retrieve instruments and equipment to schools, government facilities, warehouses, and store.
• Assist with loading and unloading of instruments.

• Collaborate with the contracting team to ensure all deliveries are properly prepared and documented.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company positively during client interactions.

• Familiarity with the local area or willingness to learn route navigation.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate problem-solving skills in real-time scenarios.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery and proper documentation.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the role.
• Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 50 pounds).
• High School Degree or GED preferred.
• Zero tolerance for alcohol or drug use while on duty.

• Pay Range: $17.65 - $20.00 / hr
