RN/LPN for Day, Evening, and Night Shift

Job Summary:

Wheaton Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a RN/LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, while also supporting our nursing team in meeting the needs of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate understanding and utilize nursing policies and procedures in the administration of resident care

• Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility

• Ensure that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere

• Meet with assigned staff to plan shifts, services, programs, and activities

• Complete all required documentation pertaining to resident's admission, transfer, and/or discharge

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians

• Participate in the facility's quality assurance program

• Develop work assignments and/or assist in completing and performing such assignments as needed

• Make rounds throughout the shift to continuously monitor and assess resident conditions

• Ensure that all call lights are answered timely and ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are monitored frequently

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Illinois

• Must be able to lift and/or move residents as needed
