• Provide nursing assessment, intervention, and documentation for students.
• Administer medications and provide individual health instructions.
• Complete, process, and follow up on accident reports with students and staff.
• Provide appropriate health related resources and referrals.
• Communicate with parents regarding health‑related incidents.
• Provide written emergency medical plans and care plans for students when indicated.
• Coordinate with the school on maintenance of daily attendance records.
• Maintain the individual cumulative health record for each student including immunizations and physical exams.
• Follow district policy relative to delinquent physicals and immunizations.
• Manage and monitor reports of communicable diseases.
• Coordinate building vision and hearing screenings as well as individual screenings upon request.
• Monitor health supplies and equipment for each Health Office.
• Communicate with Certified School Nurses about health needs of special‑education students.
• Provide in‑service and monitor staff regarding blood‑borne pathogens as mandated by OSHA and manage exposure follow‑up.
• Complete mandated state health reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates must have a valid Illinois nursing license and CPR certification. Pediatric, ICU or ER experience preferred.

Rate of pay: Starting rate of pay is $26.62 - $43.60, experience will be considered. Final rate of pay will be aligned with those already in the District with similar experience.
