SUMMARY:
Community Unit School District is seeking an individual who is interested in working as an special education assistant 1:1 in the Before and After School Program at one of our elementary schools. This person would work under the direction of the Before and After School Director and assist with the care of students before and/or after regular school hours.
CERTIFICATION OR STATE PARAPROFESSIONAL APPROVAL:
The assistant must have one of the following:
1. Letter of paraprofessional approval from the State of Illinois, OR
2. Current Illinois Teaching, School Service Personnel, or Administrative Certificate, OR
3. Current Illinois Substitute Teaching Certificate
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Works well with children
Ability to take direction
Dependable
High School Diploma preferred
