DescriptionWinfield School District 34 is looking for a positive and encouraging middle school science teacher that will engage students in learning. Winfield School District 34 is a small suburban school district in DuPage County, serving students pre‑kindergarten through 8th grade. Students, teachers, and leaders collaborate to provide a personal learning environment that cultivates growth for all members of our school community.

- Possess Professional Educator License
- Holds a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Proven ability to provide specially designed instruction to students with a wide variety of needs and abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to meet individual student needs and the needs of groups of students
- Demonstrated time management skills; ability to handle multiple demands
- Proficiency using a variety of technology and software including word processors, spreadsheets, and databases
- Capacity to learn new software and apply skills within the work environment.
- Candidates must possess strong collaborative, communication, organizational and computer skills
- Ability to work independently, engage with the public, and appropriately communicate information to District administration and staff, as well as to the community

Salary range for the position is between $51,422 and $71,707 based on education and years of experience.
