Attendance Days

June 8th - July 16th, 2026 Monday - Thursday (Staff hours 8:00 - 11:30). No school on July 6th.

Qualifications
  • Candidates must have a current, valid Illinois Paraprofessional License, substitute license, valid Illinois Teaching Certificate registered in DuPage County
  • Knowledge of best practices as it relates to supporting (all) students' ability to learn
  • Must have appropriate computer software experience; and the ability to operate office equipment, perform some data entry, and maintain records
  • Strong communications skills (both oral and written)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must maintain confidentiality with regards to student records
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist teacher with instructional and classroom management

The physical demands are within the industry norm. While performing the job, the employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, lift, talk, see and/or hear, as well as to be able to operate duplicating machines and computer equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
