We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a dynamic healthcare organization in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial management and healthcare billing. The Controller will play a vital role in overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Medicare and Medicaid requirements, and leading financial strategies.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.

- Ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid billing standards, addressing any regulatory requirements.

- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth and skill development.

- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and financial strategies.

- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all financial transactions.

- Monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

- Spearhead audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

- Proven expertise in Medicare and Medicaid billing processes.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.

- Familiarity with document control and scanning procedures.

- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.

- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
