Biomedical Device Consultants & Laboratories () is a fast-growing company that offers comprehensive medical device testing services, designs verification test equipment, and produces silicone mock vessels to the medical device community in support of domestic and international regulatory submissions and approvals. Our primary focus is cardiovascular technologies such as endovascular stents, prosthetic heart valves, and catheters. In this exciting role, you’ll prepare and review journal entries, conduct General Ledger reconciliations, and craft precise financial statements. As you perform monthly reconciliations and allocations of prepaid and accrued expenses, your analytical prowess will support strategic decision-making that drives our success.

You’ll also collect and analyze operational data, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide vital documentation during audits. To thrive as a Senior Accountant at BDC Laboratories, you’ll need a robust skill set that blends technical expertise with strategic thinking. A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance is essential, coupled with over 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in cost accounting and inventory management. Your proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel, will be crucial for analyzing large data sets and conducting exception analysis.

We seek a proactive problem solver who collaborates seamlessly with teammates, whether in person or remotely. Familiarity with month-end close processes and the ability to work under tight timelines are critical.

If you hold a CPA or CMA certification, that’s a significant plus! Experience supporting audits, preparing schedules, and responding to auditor inquiries while maintaining a strong grasp of GAAP will set you apart. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance required
• 5+ years in accounting preferably cost accounting and inventory experience
• High degree of expertise with MS Office applications in particular Excel
• Proactive problem solver who can work collaboratively with teammates both in person and remotely
• CPA or CMA certification a plus
• Experience with month end close and execution on tight timelines
• Comfortable working with large data sets including imports reconciliations and exception analysis
• Experience supporting audits including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor inquiries, revenue recognition, and a strong understanding of GAAP.
