They are currently seeking a Lead Electrician, Low Voltage to join their team in Wharton, NJ. This position is ideal for a skilled electrician who enjoys problem-solving in an industrial setting and can take ownership of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance while guiding other electricians in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform layout, installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and telecommunications systems that power machines, equipment, lighting, and facilities.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and telecommunication systems.
- Provide maintenance and technical support to ensure uninterrupted operation of essential electrical equipment.
- Partner with other electricians to install and commission electrical systems.
- Provide guidance to team members and assist with installation and repair work as needed.
- Support work that may extend to high voltage electrical and instrumentation circuits.
- Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical and telecommunication systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory and the ability to set up and organize work tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage diverse electrical responsibilities across projects.
- Must be available for emergency calls or job assignments on a 24-hour basis when required.
- Valid New Jersey driver's license required.
- High School diploma or Vocational School diploma (or equivalent).
- Minimum of two years of formal training in the electrical field, including NEC code review classes.
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour.
