The Quality/Safety Manager will develop, implement, manage, and maintain effective Quality and Safety policies and procedures that meet contract requirements and the criteria for ISO compliance in all areas as well as company and government safety requirements.

• Develop, implement, manage, and maintain effective Quality and Safety policies and procedures that meet contract requirements and the criteria for ISO compliance in all areas as well as company and government safety requirements.
• Prepare, maintain, enforce, and update QC plans to drive performance using ISO 9001:2015 standards across the program and compliance with ISO 14001 standards in all areas.
• Responsible for all aspects of ISO compliance and the establishment of internal processes/controls.
• Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence relative to the work.
• Analyze the nature and cause of errors to identify areas needing improvement in the department’s processes and systems.
• Review, analyze, and resolve contested case reports.
• Serves as a liaison with staff and management concerning error trends and problem areas.
• Establish program objectives performance goals and assess progress.
• Establish operational metrics/key indicators for process control and on‑going quality process improvements.
• Conduct root cause/corrective action analysis.
• Will apply analytical techniques and causative research skills to identify areas of needed emphasis to recommend improvements.
• Establish Safety program objectives or performance goals and assess progress.
• Maintain facility safety inventory including supplies.
• Document all safety violations and maintain the records for the life of the contract.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum three (3) years of experience performing quality control in an industrial/technical environment.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in administrative, professional, analytical or other work related to International Organization for Standard (ISO) programs or operations.
• ISO 9000 Lead Auditor qualification Preferred.

• Knowledge of Safety standards and general experience in dealing with environmental issues.
• Knowledge to maintain quality management and environmental system in accordance with the applicable industry and ISO Standards as applicable.
• Knowledge of Army logistical functions.
• Ability to analyze, develop, evaluate, advise or promote improvements in logistical programs.
• Possess the appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
• Advanced computer skills in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Deltek.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
