Job Overview
We are seeking an organised and reliable Exams Assistant to join our busy Exams team at Coastland College. This is a fast‑paced role working predominately at the Weymouth Campus. This is a fixed‑term role until 30th June 2026. An Exams Assistant supports the planning, administration, and delivery of internal and external examinations within an education setting. The role involves ensuring exams are conducted in accordance with awarding body regulations, maintaining accurate records, supporting students and invigilators, and safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of the examination process.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and administer internal and external examinations in line with awarding body regulations
- Download and record students results and process post‑exam service requests
- Prepare exam timetables, seating plans and exam materials
- Ensure all exams are conducted securely, fairly and efficiently
- Travel between campuses as required to support exam delivery
- Set up exam rooms in line with JCQ regulations
