Our client is seeking an Integration Analyst / Interface Developer to support the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of system interfaces across a healthcare enterprise environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless data exchange between clinical, financial, and operational systems.
The successful candidate will contribute to new interface implementations while also maintaining and optimizing existing integrations. This position operates in a dynamic environment that may require after-hours support to maintain continuous system availability.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze, design, build, and maintain system interfaces between applications and databases
- Monitor interface performance and generate reports to ensure reliability and efficiency
- Troubleshoot integration issues and recommend sustainable technical solutions
- Collaborate with internal departments and third-party vendors to define integration requirements and scope
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including interface specifications and conversion plans
- Create and execute testing strategies to validate interface functionality and performance
- Support system optimization initiatives to improve data flow and operational consistency
- Assist in developing monitoring procedures and training materials for end users and technical staff
- Update documentation to reflect enhancements, changes, and system upgrades
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years of experience developing and supporting interfaces within a healthcare setting
- Experience with integration engines (e.g., Rhapsody or similar platforms)
- Knowledge of Epic Bridges or comparable healthcare interface solutions
- Familiarity with API integrations and SFTP technologies
- Experience supporting Workday integrations preferred
- Understanding of healthcare regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA and accreditation requirements) desirable
- Willingness to participate in on‑call rotations to support 24/7 operational needs
