Position Information

Location: Weymouth, MA
Facility: Care One at Weymouth
Salary Range: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour
Practice Setting: Short‑Term Rehab, Assisted Living, LTACH, Long‑Term Care

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide rehabilitation care within all generally accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
  • Implement treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
  • Provide feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
  • Participate in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
  • Participate in all center‑directed processes and services.
  • Show effective management of treatment and non‑treatment related activities.
  • Perform necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
  • Participate in in‑service training programs as requested.
  • May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis.
Position Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current and active Physical Therapy Assistant license within the state of operations.
  • Preferred experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
  • Preferred knowledge of governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.
