Compensation Pay Range: $45.45 – $61.17 per hour

• Perform all required procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization / EP Laboratories, including stent placements, balloon angioplasties, valve replacements, and electrophysiology tests.
• Operate all specialized equipment: X‑ray systems, fluoroscopy, electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) machines, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), optical coherence tomography (OCT), and other imaging technologies.
• Provide first‑and‑second‑assist duties under physician supervision, prepare patients and equipment, and manage catheter and wire exchanges.
• Document and maintain accurate procedure logs in Mac/Cardio, ensuring all sites, patients, and interventions are correctly recorded.
• Monitor hemodynamic and respiratory data, calculate physiological values, and interpret ECG findings during interventions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, coordinating repairs or re‑calibrations as needed.
• Enforce safety and quality standards: verify patient identification, employ hand hygiene, and adhere to universal precautions.
• Assist with ionizing radiation safety: maintain quality control programs, coordinate in‑service training, and support radiation usage reporting.
• Perform inventory management, restocking, and supply ordering in collaboration with Lead Tech/ Nurse Manager.

• Minimum Education: Graduate of an approved radiological technologist program.
• Preferred Experience: Prior Cardiac Cath Lab experience, EKG interpretation, arrhythmia recognition.
• Licenses & Registrations: ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT);
  Massachusetts State License.
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Full‑time with on‑call rotation.
• Professional Development: Attend at least 5 CEUs in specialty area annually; participate in hospital‑sponsored training.
