SummaryUnder general supervision, provide direct clinical and clerical support to specialty clinicians in office and procedural settings. Tasks include room preparation, sterile field setup, assistance with minor operative procedures, and pre/post procedural office visits.
Responsibilities- Assist clinicians during office visits and surgical procedures, ensuring efficient room turnover and sterile field maintenance.
- Operate specialized equipment and support minor operative and surgical procedures.
- Prepare and document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, handling sharps and biohazard materials.
- Communicate professionally with patients, clinicians, and staff.
- High School diploma or GED;
Medical Assistant certification required. - Associate’s degree in medical assisting preferred.
- Three years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Computer proficiency, EMR experience, word processing, spreadsheets.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred; ACLS may be required based on specialty.
- Proficient in setting up and maintaining a sterile field.
- Knowledge of sharps and biohazard disposal.
- Ability to assist with fine needle aspiration (FNA) and lab specimen work.
- Excellent patient service awareness and customer service skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.

Schedule6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. variable start times.
Hourly range: $21.78 – $31.11 per hour based on full-time employment.
