- Prepare and/or monitor program budgets, forecasts and amendments with direction from the Director of Service, Sr. Program Directors, and Program Directors.
- Liaison with Vinfen’s Finance Department regarding accounting, billing and payroll issues.
- Analyze financial reports and initiate accounting corrections.
- Manage and reconcile program fees and rent collection for persons served.
- Review and reconcile petty cash, as directed.
- Monitor and reconcile Representative Payee and Client Expense Accounts.
- Train program management and other staff in administrative and financial functions and responsibilities.
- Develop and distribute key indicator expense and utilization management reports under the direction of the Director of Service or Sr. Program Director.
- Manage all billing processes, including EIM and Food Stamps, to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Participate in various internal and external meetings regarding business operations with Vinfen and funding sources.
- Design and implement systems to facilitate administrative efficiency and effectiveness for work group.
- Remain up-to-date on financial issues and processes as related to Vinfen and funding sources.
- Provide direction to all administrative support staff for work group as directed by DOS.
- Perform other related duties, as required.
- Knowledge of operations management procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of financial management practices in human service organizations.

QualificationsTypical requirements:
Two to three years’ experience in progressively responsible fiscal management.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Driving RequirementsDriving is a requirement for this position using either a Vinfen van or personal vehicle. If using a personal vehicle, you must possess and maintain adequate insurance as well as maintain a safe driving record which is subject to annual checks. A valid driver's license must be presented at the time of employment. Incumbents must be at least 21 years of age, have maintained a valid US driver's license for at least six months, and must be able to pass a driver's screening background check.
PhysicalEffort
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb as this is a very physically active position. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or the use of a two-person lift. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer. Ability to sit, reach, climb stairs, and maneuver through narrow spaces or hallways.
Ability to assist PS with tasks of daily living. Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time as needed. Ability to bend, reach, file, sit, stand, and move around the facility. Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with PS, staff, and external representatives. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Range
USD $62,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 / Yr.
