We are a rapidly growing contaminated land remediation contractor, delivering practical remediation solutions across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects throughout the UK. Due to continued expansion and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are seeking an Remediation Engineer to join our team.

The role will involve travel to active project sites across the UK, and periods of working away from home may be required to suit project requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of contaminated land remediation projects on site
- Supervise remediation activities including:
- Soil excavation and replacement
- Soil treatment and stabilisation
- Capping systems and cover layers
- Validation and verification sampling
- Manage and monitor environmental controls (dust, odour, noise, surface water, groundwater)
- Coordinate with site managers, plant operators, subcontractors, and waste contractors
- Ensure remediation works comply with approved:
- Remediation Method Statements
- Environmental permits and planning conditions
- Health, Safety & Environmental requirements
- Maintain accurate site records and assist in the preparation of verification and completion reports
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulators as required
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience working for a remediation, groundworks contractor or consultant
- Practical understanding of contaminated land remediation techniques
- Knowledge of UK waste regulations and soil management
- Strong site-based experience and commitment to health & safety
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Experience with validation sampling and verification reporting
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- First Aid at Work
