We are a rapidly growing contaminated land remediation contractor, delivering practical remediation solutions across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects throughout the UK. Due to continued expansion and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are seeking an Remediation Engineer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing business where you will play a key role in the delivery of remediation works on site, gain exposure to a wide variety of projects, and progress your career within a supportive and forward-thinking company.

The role will involve travel to active project sites across the UK, and periods of working away from home may be required to suit project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of contaminated land remediation projects on site
  • Supervise remediation activities including:
    • Soil excavation and replacement
    • Soil treatment and stabilisation
    • Capping systems and cover layers
    • Validation and verification sampling
  • Manage and monitor environmental controls (dust, odour, noise, surface water, groundwater)
  • Coordinate with site managers, plant operators, subcontractors, and waste contractors
  • Ensure remediation works comply with approved:
    • Remediation Method Statements
    • Environmental permits and planning conditions
    • Health, Safety & Environmental requirements
  • Maintain accurate site records and assist in the preparation of verification and completion reports
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulators as required
Requirements
  • Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Experience working for a remediation, groundworks contractor or consultant
  • Practical understanding of contaminated land remediation techniques
  • Knowledge of UK waste regulations and soil management
  • Strong site-based experience and commitment to health & safety
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
Additional Training and Support
  • Experience with validation sampling and verification reporting
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • First Aid at Work
