Travel & Tourism Lecturer
Travel and Tourism Lecturer – 18.5 hours per week (Mon, Tues, Weds). Employed 52 weeks per year, up to £39,714.22 (BRK
36) FTE depending on qualifications and experience. Option to gain teaching qualifications.
The role is based on site in Weybridge and involves working as part of a team to deliver a range of high‑quality courses and providing qualification and progression opportunities for all learners within the curriculum area.
About the roleAs a Travel and Tourism Lecturer you will have the enthusiasm and drive to deliver a variety of courses for learners in travel and aviation, including cabin crew. Your responsibilities include:
- Teach on a programme of appropriate courses
- Assess, review and record learner progress
- Maintain course and learner records
- Embed employment skills into the curriculum courses
- Degree/HND or relevant professional qualifications & strong industry experience – gained with aviation and cabin crew.
- Experience working professionally within the travel and tourism field.
- Teaching qualifications – or be prepared to work towards this with support.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and be skilled in IT use.
