REED Practice are recruiting an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Senior for a long-established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Salisbury (parking available) Accounts Assistant / Accounts Senior Full Time / Part Time Salary £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience Salisbury (parking available) My client is looking for a 5th member of staff to provide a wide range of accountancy, tax, and advisory services to owner-managed businesses, individuals, and trusts.

The Accounts Senior will play a key role within the Accounts & Business Services team, supporting a varied portfolio of clients and contributing to the delivery of high-quality compliance and advisory services.[]

Key Responsibilities Prepare annual financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, and trusts. Assist with management accounts , VAT returns, and other business support activities. Act as a client point of contact , maintaining strong working relationships and addressing queries promptly. Work with managers and partners on more complex assignments, including advisory projects. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal quality processes.

Identify opportunities to improve client processes or suggest value-adding services Requirements ACA/ACCA qualified , part-qualified, or qualified by experience. Prior experience in general practice , including statutory accounts preparation and tax returns. Strong working knowledge of cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero) Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capability. Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills.
