This Senior Manager role is ideal for a qualified accountant who prefers the technical side of accounting and tax within practice.

You will oversee complex assignments, review advanced work and act as a technical point of reference across the team. The Senior Manager Role – Technical Focus As a Senior Manager in this Accountancy Practice in Reading you will manage a portfolio of complex clients while supporting technical standards across the wider team.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing and developing a portfolio of complex client accounts and corporation tax returns Reviewing consolidated accounts and FRS
102 assignments Supporting work involving UK subsidiaries of overseas entities Reviewing complex VAT returns and CT600 submissions Liaising with auditors and advising on technical accounting matters Acting as a technical escalation point for colleagues Supporting business and personal tax planning assignments where appropriate Ensuring compliance with statutory, ethical and regulatory requirements Driving consistency and quality across client work This Senior Manager job in Reading offers genuine technical depth within a supportive and professional practice environment.
