Job Title Audit & Accounts Manager Location London Salary £65,000 - £78,000 A leading and fast-growing Top 20 accountancy firm is looking to recruit an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager for its London office. This is a superb opportunity for a qualified and commercially minded accountant to join a dynamic, client-focused firm working with a broad portfolio of SME clients across multiple sectors .

The role offers a genuine split across audit, accounts and tax , providing variety, client ownership and the chance to develop as a well-rounded adviser rather than specialising in a single service line. What you will be doing as an Audit & Accounts Manager Lead and deliver audit/assurance engagements for a portfolio of SME clients Oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts for limited companies and groups Provide corporation tax oversight , including review of computations and liaison with internal tax specialists Act as the main point of contact for clients, building trusted adviser relationships Manage, supervise and develop audit and accounts teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance Review working papers and ensure audits are completed in line with UK auditing standards Support Partners and Senior Managers on technical matters and larger or more complex clients Identify opportunities to provide additional audit, accounts or tax services Contribute to internal quality control, technical standards and audit file reviews What you will need to succeed as an Audit & Accounts Manager ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified with several years' post-qualification experience Previous experience as an Audit Manager or Assistant Manager within a UK accountancy practice Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, IFRS and ISAs Well-rounded exposure across audit, statutory accounts and corporation tax Knowledge of trusts or charities would be advantageous but not essential Confident communicator with strong client-facing and relationship-management skills Proven ability to manage assignments from planning through to completion

Experience with software such as CCH, Audit Automation, Inflo, SAP, Xero, Sage or Quick Books is beneficial Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple deadlines Why join this firm?
