• Log requests for offsite and diagnostic studies.
• Maintain mental health clinic logs and ensure that appointments are scheduled according to DOC protocols.
• Assist nurses and other staff in issuing and tracking minor medical equipment (e.g., heating pads).
• Collect data from ER logs, segregation logs, etc. for monthly QI reporting.
• Coordinate the scheduling of on‑site specialty appointments (e.g., X‑ray, physical therapy, medical‑surgical subspecialties).
• Answer telephone calls, take messages and make telephone calls as needed.
• Type correspondence, reports or memorandums, as needed.
• Maintain roster or appointment book based on scheduled appointments, both offsite and onsite, as needed.
• Order, receive and maintain office supplies.
• Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year experience in a behavioral health care environment.
• Experience using Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Effective time management skills.
• Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirement.
• A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.
