Reports To:

Director of Teaching, Learning and Curriculum

Compensation: per Collective Bargaining Agreement

Position Summary

The K-8 Mathematics, Science, and Technology Curriculum Supervisor is responsible for program improvement, curriculum development, instructional leadership, and high-quality professional development across the subject areas of Math, Science, Technology, Arts, and Physical Education/Wellness. The Supervisor will also oversee other curricular areas, in conjunction with the K-8 Literacy and Humanities Curriculum Supervisor, and Teaching and Learning team as determined by the Superintendent based upon programmatic needs.

Education and Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in Elementary or Secondary Education or a related field of Education.

* Master's Degree in Science, Mathematics, or Technology or related field.

* Successful comprehensive experience in instructional leadership and coaching, design and implementation of impactful professional development, implementation of strategic

* curricular improvements based on instructional practices and analysis of student

* assessment data, and proven track record of supporting and enhancing the instructional expertise of teachers.

* Experience in a related area of education may be considered.

Certification

* CT certification in Intermediate Administration and Supervision, endorsement code (#092)

* CT certification in one STEM area
