The RoleThe Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting activities and provide guidance to accounting staff while remaining hands-on with core accounting responsibilities. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and ensuring accounting processes scale effectively as the company grows.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and general ledger activities
Support and participate in month-end and year-end close processes
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
Assist with inventory and cost accounting activities
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Partner with operations and finance leadership to resolve issues
Help train, mentor, and develop accounting staff
Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3–6 years of accounting experience
Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
Experience with ERP systems and Excel
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
