Revenue Accountant - Maternity Cover

We are working with a growing, successful business seeking a technically strong and commercially astute Revenue Accountant to join the finance team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

This is a key role within the finance function, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely revenue reporting across multiple regions. You will manage one direct report and play an active role in ongoing finance transformation initiatives.

The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, your responsibilities will include:

Core Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including revenue and cost of sales
• Month-end journal postings and completion of group reconciliations
• Revenue recognition across multiple revenue streams and international entities
• Partnering with the UK Commercial Team to provide financial insight and reporting
• Oversight of billing processes via one direct report
• Preparation of audit files and support through the annual audit process
• Approval of credit notes and management of bank administration

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience with strong technical grounding
• Proven experience in revenue accounting and multi-entity environments
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles
• Confident managing month-end processes independently
• Experience working with international operations advantageous
• Able to start at short notice
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model (2 days on-site near Wetherby)
