Reception Teaching Assistant Required for a Mainstream Primary School in North Leeds

About the role:

At Engage Education, we’ve specialised in recruiting teaching assistants for over a decade, so we know a bit about finding the ideal school for you. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Reception Teaching Assistant to work with a统一 pupil on a 1:1 basis temporarily at a fantastic primary school in East Leeds.

This will be full time and will be starting Jan 2026.

We are on the look out for applicants with professional experience with the following needs;

Autism
ADHD
Global Development Delay
Medical needs such as;
Epilepsy, Diabetes, Cerebral Palsy, Wheelchair bound etc
Non-verbal
Speech and Language
SEMH
PMLD

Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality teaching assistants to work with these schools to positively impact the progress and attainment of their pupils.

Our Reception Teaching Assistants’ duties can include:

Working with small groups of pupils

Working on a one-to-one basis with children with additional needs

Providing personal and emotional care for pupils when needed

Managing classroom alerts
