Location: Boston Spa

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a well-established and growing business based in Thorp Arch, Wetherby. This full-time, office-based Sales Administrator position offers a salary of £28,000–£32,000 plus bonus.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Administrator looking to join a busy commercial team. The Sales Administrator will play a key role in supporting the sales function, ensuring customer enquiries, orders and deliveries are managed efficiently from initial contact through to completion. The successful Sales Administrator will be highly organised, detail-focused and confident working with CRM systems and transport providers.

The Role – Sales Administrator

As Sales Administrator, you will act as the first point of contact for incoming enquiries via email, web chat and website forms. You will log and manage enquiries within the CRM system, ensuring all details are accurately recorded and forwarded to the relevant team members.

Key responsibilities of the Sales Administrator include:

* Managing inbound enquiries and distributing them appropriately

* Processing sales orders accurately using CRM software (Zoho experience desirable)

* Coordinating transport bookings via pallet networks and external providers

* Providing customers and internal teams with delivery updates and ETAs

* Obtaining and filing Proof of Delivery documentation

* Checking transport invoices against sales orders before passing to Finance

* Maintaining accurate customer records and updating sales dashboards

* Supporting Key Account Managers, Business Development and Sales Management with administrative tasks

* Preparing reports, updating dashboards and assisting with meeting documentation

* Ensuring all documentation is accurate and correctly filed

* Delivering consistently high levels of customer service

This Sales Administrator role requires someone who can prioritise workload effectively, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

About You

* Previous experience in a sales administration or customer service role

* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

* Experience using CRM systems (Zoho advantageous)

* Competence in Microsoft Office

* Clear written and verbal communication skills

* A professional and customer-focused approach

* The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to agreed timescales

The ideal Sales Administrator will be proactive, reliable and comfortable supporting a busy sales team while taking ownership of their workload.

Salary & Benefits

 * £28,000–£32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

* Performance-related bonus

* Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (30-minute break)

* Office-based role in Thorp Arch, Wetherby
