** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols relevant to healthcare locations.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols within the healthcare location.

+ Collaborate with staff and local emergency personnel as needed in response to incidents or emergency situations.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

+ Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general inquiries to support a welcoming environment.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
