As a Branch Ambassador, you’ll use your love of working with people and sharing product knowledge to play a vital role in our customers’ banking experience. You’ll perform a wide variety of transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers and withdrawals while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to established operational policies and procedures.

You’ll resolve customer inquiries quickly and efficiently, delivering an extraordinary customer experience. Our Branch team exists to enhance the financial lives of people in the communities we serve. We’re looking for outgoing, passionate people who want to be part of this reimagined banking experience.

• Engage with customers in a friendly, engaging manner and connect with them through technology challenges, casual conversations, or by showcasing our services and products.
• Help determine both personal and business financial needs to reduce customer financial anxiety, and connect customers with experts to guide them toward their financial goals.
• Maintain compliance by following audit and security policies and procedures in accordance with Bank policy and Federal regulations.
• Support customers in all areas of the branch, including cash handling and service needs, and rotate through the branch based on customer needs.
• Improve the overall retail customer experience by minimizing handoffs and acting as the branch expert.
• Be curious and eager to learn about Capital One’s products, services, and experiences to guide customers in the right direction.
• Be digitally savvy, showcasing what’s possible in our physical space and how to navigate our mobile and online experience using branch laptops and iPads; educate customers on other banking channels and products/services.
• Work as part of an energized team of banking professionals and inspire teammates as they inspire you.
• Research and answer customer inquiries to enhance retention and engagement, leveraging tools and channels to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Travel between branches in the assigned local area to support the market you are assigned.

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
• At least 1 year of Retail, Sales or Customer Service experience
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience

• Associate’s degree
• 2+ years of Retail, Sales, or Banking Experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked. The actual salary offered will be reflected in the offer letter.

Harvey, LA: $43,680 - $43,680 for Branch Ambassador

Marrero, LA: $43,680 - $43,680 for Branch Ambassador

New Orleans, LA: $43,680 - $43,680 for Branch Ambassador

Westwego, LA: $43,680 - $43,680 for Branch Ambassador

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location.
