Location Detail: 300 Post Road West Wstprt (10489)

Shift Detail: Monday - Friday. Travel required between offices.

Job Description
  • Warmly greet and register arriving patients.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, evaluate priority, and direct calls appropriately according to urgency and subject matter.
  • Schedule new patient appointments accurately, and inform patients of essential preparation requirements prior to visit.
  • Review daily Televox report of appointment confirmations to ensure accurate schedule and appropriate communications with patients.
  • Collect co-payments and office charges as needed and explain office payment billing policies to patients.
  • Ensure patients have a comfortable and inviting environment by maintaining a clean waiting room, actively removing trash, and keeping magazines current throughout the day.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Relevant experience in a fast‑paced medical office (highly preferred).
  • Epic experience (preferred).
  • Positive, customer‑focused approach, with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment juggling multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to communicate in other languages highly desirable.
  • Strong computer skills; solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Basic working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to travel independently to satellite offices with or without advanced notice.
  • Strong working knowledge of insurance requirements.
