Dual Licensed Esthetician & Massage Therapist – The Beauty Loft Spa

The Beauty Loft Spa is seeking a talented Dual Licensed Esthetician & Massage Therapist who is passionate about aesthetic wellness, therapeutic bodywork, and delivering an elevated, personalized client experience. In this role, you will provide both advanced skincare services and customized massage treatments, working within a luxurious and supportive spa environment. You will closely with the Owner and team while building a strong clientele and mastering advanced modalities.

• Conduct thorough consultations addressing skin health, body needs, lifestyle factors, and long-term goals
• Create tailored treatment plans that outline recommended services, frequency, and expected results
• Provide detailed education on home‑care practices and product recommendations

• Perform high-quality aesthetic and massage treatments using a client-centered approach
• Maintain accurate and detailed client notes while upholding confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines
• Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully sanitized at all times
• Follow all state board regulations, sanitation standards, and spa safety protocols

• Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service and communication
• Develop strong rapport by ensuring clients feel supported, understood, and valued
• Proactively follow up for feedback, rebooking, and long-term treatment planning
• Maintain strong rebooking and contribute to overall retention goals

• Recommend products, enhancements, and treatment bundles aligned with client goals
• Leverage strong product knowledge to guide informed purchasing decisions
• Promote seasonal specials, wellness programs, and packages
• Meet or exceed monthly retail and upsell goals with an ethical, client-first approach

• Perform customized massage treatments including:
• Lymphatic drainage
• Wood therapy
• Cavitation
• Cupping
• Body contouring
• Post-op body treatments (preferred but not required)

• Perform advanced skincare treatments including:
• Deep cleansing facials
• Dermaplaning
• Microdermabrasion
• Chemical peels
• LED therapy
• Hydrating and anti-aging treatments
• Buccal massage
• Post-op skincare (preferred but not required)

• Follow up with clients via email for feedback and scheduling
• Appear on social media content when needed
• Assist the owner with off-site services events when necessary
• Help maintain spa cleanliness, restock supplies, and manage inventory
• Be available to cover shifts when necessary

• Active Connecticut licenses as both an Esthetician and Massage Therapist (required for dual-licensed commission tier)
• Prior spa or wellness environment experience
• Proficiency in multiple massage modalities
• Skilled in a range of esthetic services including advanced treatments
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and skincare principles
• Excellent communication, client care, and professionalism
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to high standards

• Open to weekends and weekdays
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Experience with body-sculpting or post-operative treatments

• 40% commission — Dual Licensed (Esthetician & Massage Therapist)
• 30% commission — Licensed in one field only
